Anyone having surgery at Carmel around April 11?

Hi, I am having my RNY at Carmel on 4-11. I bought the cutest, big, purple, hippo to hold as a tummy brace. Anyone else taking a stuffed animal? I just thought she would be a good companion to sleep with also. They had it at the gift shop in the hospital where I work Couldn't resist. Would like to have some friends from my area if you are out there.

Which hospital in Carmel? St. V's or Clarian? I think the hippo is a great idea. I didn't take an animal with me but now wish I had thought of it. I used to live in Winchester in the late 70's. I still have lots of friends and "family" there. I always loved Winchester. My weight problem probably started at the Chicken Shack and Wick's Pies. Blessings, Annette

Hello Alice. I haven't been on here for a few days and I can't believe all the new names. Congrats on the surgery date. The hippo is nice but after sugery they will wrap this wonderful elastic band all around your middle. It really helps. I hated to give mine up and probably wore it longer than I had to at home. Will you be at St. V? Dr. Inman is great. I had Dr. Evanson (great also and cute) Dr. Inman assisted on my surgery. Couldn't have asked for better care than what I got at St. V. Good luck.
