5 days now
ty sherri,
i told Jim last night that i was going to move my pc to a different room so i didnt have to be near him smokeing and that i couldnt if i wanted to have my surgery. he looked at me rather funny . i just told him smoking is limited to this room and the bathroom , we have a vent fan in there or out side. i walked in that room last night and just turned and walked out . i almost lost my dinner. i didnt think it smelld that bad .. i am going to have to rethink this smoking thing in the house point period. we have a back deck everyone can go to ... anyway i will stop ranting , i am just not a good one to have to wait , and i am waiting on heather to set me a date and tell me so i can get my time off work and get pre ops and nut class done. i guess i can do the nut class now huh????
well have a wonderfull blessd day
Hi, just wanted to let you know that I quiet smoking a year ago July when I decided to have my gastric bypass (scheduled this March 20). I had never tried to quit before and was dreading it but I knew it had to be done. Both of my parents have died from Lung Cancer. I did quite well....I used the patches for two weeks and I was done...I never smoked in my house so I never missed it there. Only I did catch myself wanting to go outside..but eventually that yearning went away. I haven't picked one up since...My mouth doesn't taste like an ashtray now, clothes don't smell and my car is the better for it. Glad I did it and I hope you have every success at it also! It is hard to do. Deb
