Hello all! I hope you all are having a great day. I feel like I've been stuck at 220 for too long now. I know it's only been like a week, but 3 months feels like too early to get stuck some place. I could use a little reassurance. I am planning to go to the St. V support group tonight in Carmel. Anyone else planning to go? Linda Vicory

Good morning, I had a gain last month to, 6 pounds I was hoping it was water, so I took Sheri's adivse and went to fit day and followed it religously for two weeks. Guess what, my calories were fine, but my protein was super low. Sheri has talked about achieve one in the past, I am not much of a coffee drinker but I like Starbucks frappachino's or I should say I used to. I ordered the achieve one Mocha Java and some profect and got busy. May I just say the achieve one Mocha Java is delish, oh my go****s the best. I wish I would have known about it right after surgery I am terrible with protein I have to really work at it. It does have some caffeine in it though not sure how much so I have just been drinking extra tea to make up for it. Since Feb 14 I've lost 8 pounds. Just to show all the newbies follow the rules and it works. I am 1.5 pounds from my goal, and 11.5 pounds from the lowest Dr. C. said I could go.

Morning Gorgeous Angie! I think you are doing great and really have a handle on it! I keep a close eye over mine...especially when I know I am eating things I shouldn't When I just gotta have something...I allow it in small portions and then really get back to it. I think your show of commitment to your goal will give you alot of power and you will do it! Stay strong!! Give Ed a hug! Hugs! Marianne

Morning/Day All - Moved into my newly bought house over the weekend and partial last week. It was a rough move because of the weather, but we are here and happy about having a much bigger and much needed space to live in. I'm still in Crawfordsville. Went to my first baby doc appointment yesterday and meet with just the midwife. We had a nice long conversation about nutrition because she's also a post WLS'er. Go to Indy soon to have my ultra sound and testing for Down's Syndrome and T-18 because of my age my doctor requires it. I'm choosing to go all natural birth as I did with Gage. No drugs of any kind. I have a high tolerance for pain anyways, so no biggie. March 28th we get to hear the baby's heart beat for the first time. Everyone here is super excited about going to that appointment with me. Other then that, not much going here other then unpacking and setting up house. Hope everyone has a good day... Lots of Sun Shine Today.. .and warmer temps for this weekend. 55 by Saturday I hear. Good morning everyone! Linda, I had the same problem that lasted about a month. It is only temporary and the scales will move, I promise. My problem, lately being the iron deficiency that has been making me very tired, I just don't feel like getting out and exercizing like I should be. So I decided to go do some mall walking and I made sure to increase my water/protein (very good advice from Sherri, thank you) and the scales have started to move again. Hang in there, you're doing great!! Regina

Good morning everyone! Well.talked with Bill and March 17th at 6 pm to whenever is the tub & tea! Drop me a note & let me know if you're planning on coming (& if you are bringing your spouse of s/o). I'll send you my address & phone #. Remember....Pre-OR Post-op...Male or Female...you're all welcome to join us! Don't be shy. Remember that we were ALL obese...k? If you've never met any of us, no problem! That's how I met two of my favorte sisters...Ellen & Jodi! Linda...you will go through many, many pauses on your journey. This early out, it's your body's way of catching it's breath. It's not considered a true platau until you've been at a stall for 6 weeks or more. Sarah...Don't ya just love the mocha java???? It is my absolute favorite! I don't order it by the case...I order it by the 10 cases! I think it is one of the tastiest ways to get my protein in and I can see me doing it for the rest of my life. It does have some caffiene in it...so I target drinking 2X water for every ounce in additon to the 64 oz. If you like Fitday, you should check out SparkPeople. It helps you track EVERYTHING in addition to giving you great exercise and nutrician help. Angie....I had gained 10 lbs from my last surgery. I guess it was all that time of not being able to walk or anything. When I'm home, I don't do as well on the water either. At work? Shoot, it's nothing for me to get in 64-96 oz during the day...which allows me to have my AchievOne's..lol. Since being back at work, I lost 5 of the 10. I started exercising at work again yesterday so I'm hoping the rest will melt off quick. I am right now 4 lb less than my last doctor's appointment since it fell in-between the 2 foot surgeries (and I had gained 10 with it, but relost it before having the 2nd foot surgery). I'll never forget reading a post from someone who was 5 yrs out at the time (probably about 7 yrs now) that if you wanted to jump-start you're losing again, besides getting back to basics (measure, journal, no drinking with meals), you should increase one or more of PEW (protein, exercise, water). One smart lady! It's how I relost that 10 in-between surgeries and am relosing again. Hope you all are having a fantastic day!! Sherri
