Hi all, i read a couple of posts and been so far behind. want to say thanks to my birthday angel for my nice card with bird houses on it... My house is crazy...Ed just finished 5 days of IVIG which is globulins containly antibodies. I think this has helped him somewhat, and this is also something that may be done one or 2 days a month. he appears to have more energy than he was having and may take a week before he sees the full effect of this...a nurse came every day and was 4-5 hours of hooked up to an IV... I am so glad Sherri got good news on Jay, that is just awesome news..and now to be sure he keeps up with being checked out and healthy...

Good morning Angie! It's great that the IV seems to be helping Ed. I hope this does the trick for him. Any news on your little thing? Did it come out negative? How about for your son..? Any date set yet? Jay is at his home with Tiffany. I'll let them over there mother him..lol He calls me every day and gives me an update. I have a feeling that after this, he'll be more compationate for my next surgery! LOL! I hope everyone else is having a terrific day today! Sherri

Sherri! I have been thinking about you all weekend! Today I was FINALLY able to make White Chicken Chili for the Sheriff's Department. I haven't heard yet whether or not they like it. It was pretty tasty to me. I had to adjust the recipe since I made such a large amount. I have to thank you for the great recipe!! Here is a picture of me with the chili just to prove (to some friends) I can cook!! http://i59.photobucket.com/albums/g312/Indychic00/chickenchili2.jpg Sam

Angie, what a wonderful surprise to see you post today! It's been awhile since I've seen you on the boards. So, Ed is still having problems? I guess I missed what is going on with him. Last I heard he saw Dr. Clark and was low in weight, but I'm not sure what all happened. I do remember reading last year about his ulcer ordeal, but then I fell off the board for awhile and when I got back on it seemed he was better. I sure hope he gets to feeling better very soon. And I hope you are doing ok too. We went to the Y yesterday and went swimming. I don't know about the Y's on the other sides of town, but the Baxter one on the south side is just wonderful. The kids love playing in the playroom. Right now they are out in the kitchen making waffles in the toaster. I keep sniffing to make sure my house isn't cooking along with the waffles ;). Guess I better get off of here. Have a great day everyone, Tania

Good morning all!!! Angie I'm glad Ed is doing better... like Tania I really don't know the full details but I'm glad it's looking up. Tania I love going to the Y but they don't have one over here by me, I heard that they were supposed to be building a Y in Avon and I see this big sign in an open field so I'm hoping that's where it's going to be because it's like 1 mile from my house... Welp today I have a baby shower to go to. Kinda sucks because this time last year I was pregnant, and I want to be a mama more than anything in the world. It's really the main reason I'm having this surgery is so my body will be healthy enough to have a baby. After 6 months of infertility treatment I got prego in February last year and found out on March 1, then found out it was a tubal on April 2 and had emergency surgery to remove it. And lost a tube... so... it was a whirlwind... It just makes these things a little bit harder... Well... I hope everyone has a good day... I'll talk to you all later. Jessyca

Good Morning Angie!! It is good to see you girl!! I myself have been off the boards for some time and just emailed Linda this morning to see how you were doing. I have you and Ed in my prayers daily and know that God keeps his loving arms around you. I have really missed everyone on here and am really going to try to make some time just for me to get on here and keep up. So many new faces I feel like a stranger myself! Take care and know you are in my thoughts! For the rest of you Goegeous People!!! Have a fantastic day and an awesome week ahead! Hey Angie....Jon and I are going to "The Who" concert this Tuesday! It's not Bob Segar but....they will be a blast!! Hugs to you all! Marianne

Good to see you post, Angie. I was wondering how you were doing! I am here at work again at the shelter. It makes for such a long day, but I need the moolah. And it does help me to concentrate on homework, which I sit here (after I get done playing, hehe!) I am starting to weed out clothes again, and make a pile for the next clothing exchange. I get excited everytime something doesn't fit now, because it's too big. That's a change for me. I found some really yummy protein bars, and have been getting my protein in every day, since finding out my levels were so low. These bars only have 15g of protein per bar, and the dietician recommended atleast 20g per bar. But I can tolerate these, so I have to figure that 15g is better than no grams. Linda Vicory
