I'm pregnant!

I just found out I'm pregnant and I'd like to find an OB that's recommended and familiar with bariatric patients in the Carmel- Indianapolis area. Thanks for your help!

Congratulations! I don't know any OB's either. Hopefully Darrah or some of the others on here that are pregnant now can help you out.

I don't know any OB's, but if it were me, I'd call my surgeon's office and see who they would recommend. BTW...congrats! Sherri

Call your WLS Doc or even the bariatric center. I am sure they know a Doc who is familiar with WLS and Preg. Linda

Before I moved to Atlanta Ga, I was going to Carmel OB-Gyn. They are awesome!! Dr Mernitz (in my opinion) is the best OB in that office by far!! They are very familiar with bariatrics and will work with your surgeon and the dieticians for your pregnancy. They are even in the same office as the bariatric dieticians!! Give them a call! 317-573-7050. They are absolutely wonderful! Dr Mernitz was going to deliver this baby for me before we moved.
