Hi there, I know this subject has been discussed before, but I couldn't find the thread. Did any of you find anything that worked to relieve the shoulder/neck pain from the CO2 gas? It really hurts. I've been walking and putting hot packs on my shoulder, but it's not going away. The doctor prescribed Toradol and it isn't touching it either. If it weren't for this I would pretty much be back to normal. The incisions hardly hurt at all. How long does this last? Tania

The best thing for you to do is Walk Walk Walk, it really helps, and that is what the doctor's office will tell you also. Lisa B

I know it hurts like a son of a b, mine hurt after my last two surgeries... but really the one thing that relieved it the MOST was to take deep breathes... i know it hurts like a son of a b to do that, but it makes it go away faster... mine lasted for a couple of weeks... I'm glad you're doing great other than that though you go girl!!! Jessyca

Not to scare you or anything but I had severe shoulder pain which turned out to be huge bilateral pulmonary emboli. In addition to the pain though, I had NO energy and got short of breath with walking, and sweaty. If you just have the pain then probably is just gas pain but any of the other symptoms - get checked out right away.
