Bad Cough -- will they still do surgery?

Hi everyone....quick question, just in case anyone might know. I started getting a cold yesterday with a bad cough -- if this isn't gone by Wednesday, will they still do the surgery or will I have to postpone?????????????????? Hugs -- Tina

Tina, It never fails that I get to coughing & have a runny nose every time before I have a surgery! I get on Nyquil and stay on it till the night before surgery. You may want to give it a try. Sherri

One word - ZICAM. I like the spray, it is easier to use. It will shorten the duration of your cold. Best wishes, Annette

Tina, I like Zicam too!. At the first sign of a cold...scratchy throat, running nose..take it and it really does make the cold less severe. I am just not sure if you can take cold remedies prior to surgery. Someone out there probably knows. Linda
