I'm home and Banded!
Hello, just a quick not to tell you that I am home. It really hasn't been as bad as I expected----of course I am on some good drugs though
Everything went well and I was up, changed into my flannel jammies, and had makeup on by noon. Thank you Jessyca and Carmen for letting folks know I was up and around.
ATTENTION--- to anyone having surgery at St. Fancis in Beech Grove. When they remodeled they decided that the regular rooms need bigger bathroom INSTEAD of showers. So, there are only personal showers in the last 2 rooms---I think it was 974 and 975. IIf you are not in one of those rooms, you have to use a community shower!!! I just couldn't stand the thought of that. So, anyone going there might want to request a room with a shower.
The biggest problem I'm having is trying to eat slow. 2oz of cottage cheese went down in about 10min and it should be closer to 30min. It didn't make me sick, but I really have to work on that.

CONGRATS! I AM GLAD IT WENT WELL AND YOU ARE HOME ALREADY!
BTW, I still have problems getting 3 oz meals to last a half an hour. The only way I can do it (I have 4 kids ages 1-6) is to leave the food sitting on the table, go do something, then come back to it. Otherwise it is down in about 15 minutes!

Congratulations and welcome home!
I told you it would be a breeze! It's amazing how quick you recover isn't it?!
It's the hardest thing to eat so little in such a long time. I still struggle with eating a yogurt in 30 min (usually is only 15) The worst for me (after some time) was eggs, I took so long to eat them they got cold, so now I don't eat them any more cuz I HATE cold eggs.
Good luck on your upcoming looser-ness!
Hope
