Quick little update from Atlanta

Hey there ladies and guys! I am officially at week 37. Baby Leo will be here on March 6 via csection if he holds on that long. I am having major issues with contractions. I am also having a horrible time with my iron and am having to go in next week for some iron infusions. I don't really know much about them but if I don't have them and don't get my iron level up, I will have to have a blood transfusion after my csection, and that is something I REALLY would like to avoid. Anyway, that is my update! Hope you all are well!!

Glad to hear you are doing so well. I think I had to have those iron infusions after my wls. I lost a lot of blood and they gave me 5 units of blood plus these bags of iron in my iv. Other than it being hard on my veins (mostly the blood from what the nurses said) I didn't notice any side effects. Of course I was a little groggy from the meds and low nutrition right after the surgery, but I don't think it will give you any trouble. Good luck. Cindy
