Let's try again, surgery at 7:00am

This is getting rather comical ;). I was just getting ready to head down to the cafeteria to get a chicken breast for lunch when Dr. Clark's office called again. "Have you eaten lunch" "No, not yet ", "Ok, whew, don't! Dr. Clark got in the office and switched things around. Your surgery is 7:00am tomorrow. Be at the hospital at 5:00am and start clear liquids immediately" So, here we go again. More changes. Now my Mom can't go to the hospital with me because she can't take the kids to school until 6:00. So, I'll drive myself, get checked in and prepped and hopefully she will be there before they put me under. Oh well, good thing I'm flexible..........to a point Tania

Hey...glad they caught you before lunch, but shame they didn't before you had your mind made up of what you were gonna have! So what did you have? The only thing I could think of that the cafateria MIGHT would have had in clear liquids is jello. No broth as far as I've ever seen in one of our cafateria's! LOL! Your mom probably won't see you pre-op... but I have a feeling that you won't care. Good luck tomorrow! Sherri

HI Sherri, I was prepared today with a can of chicken broth (lunch) sf raspberry jello, sf cherry jello, grape juice, and a can of beef broth (mid-afternoon), and I brought in a box of sf popsicles ;). So, I just grabbed for my cooler instead. It was really close because I had my card in hand and had actually gotten up out of my chair when the phone rang. Whew!! Tania

great........hours earlier than you had thought....i will try and come by and peek in on ya....not sure what is going on with the grandbabies but i could maybe even stop in before i get them
