Energy Level/Hair Loss

Good morning! Hope everyone is staying warm. My question today has to do with my energy level. I am 3 months out (lost 50 lbs.) and for the past week it seems my old sluggish self has returned. I get tired around 12:00 pm and then again around 7:00 pm. I'm still taking all my required supplements but I can't figure out why I don't have much energy left at the end of the day. I was just wondering if it's something I've not been doing or could it just be the weather? BTW-I'm also loosing hair even after keeping up with the protein regimen and taking biotin. I was at a stopping point for loosing any more weight for about 4 weeks. Maybe it's just my body trying to play catch up. I'm using the Nioxin treatment for my hair so hopefully that will improve. I am also going to have my 3 month bloodwork done today so maybe that will give me a little more insight on what could be going on. Thanks everyone!! Everyone have a good, warm day!! Regina

Regina, Some people lose hair, some don't. Getting all of your protein in & taking biotin doesn't eliminate the hair loss...it just makes it less that you lose (if you are one of the ones that has the propensity to lose). If you are taking your B12 sublingually and are feeling tired all the time, talk to the doc about it. You may need to try going to B12 injections instead. Not all B12's are made equally and not all of us absorb it the same way. It could just be the weather, but I would guess it's more likely your B12. Congrats on the 50 lb loss! After that, your body probably does need to catch it's breath. Increasing your protein, water, and/or exercise should jump start the loss again. Sherri

50 pounds??? WOW......i know i thought with as thick as my hair was i would never notice any lose....WRONG....sallys has something forget the name of it but 3 bottles of whatever it is you need...i have to say i think it helped me...i will see if i have any left so i can tell you the name of it....NUTRI PROTECT is the name of it...cost about 20.00 for these 3 bottles....but in all honesty what helped me i have no clue maybe it was just tired of falling out???
