At 7 this morning, driving from the NE side to Harding/Raymond wasn't bad at all. It took me about 10-15 minutes longer than usual. Not bad for a snow storm! In Lawrence, it's in the 'heavy snow only' section and I would guestimate that we had about 7" by then. As I drove SW, the snow & drifting let up and I got a light coating of 'rain'. When I arrived and walked in from the parking lot, it was sleet stinging my face though. I had planned on getting out of here EARLY but I just found out that the service rep who was suppose to be here isn't canceling THIS TIME and he'll be here ~10:30....which means I'll be lucky to be heading home by 5 or 6!! Ah well! You all have a good and safe day! Sherri And How Are The Road That You Travelled On This Morning????

I live in Hamilton county and the roads are not that great. I work on the north side of Indy and the drive to work was better the closer to work I got. My DH just called me and said that it is white out conditions at home, winds blowing sideways and drifts in our yard about 6 ft in some spots. Of course they are still not allowing us to go home. "we have to be here for our customers". I work for an insurance claims office. Guess I'll just have to sleep here tonight lol..........yeah right! Guess someone has to be here to take the calls when people run off the road and wreck. Stay safe people! Hugs Claudette

I talked with Bill about 15 minutes ago. He said we went through a spell of HUGE snow flakes (it was tiny ones at 7) and that now, it was sleet mixed with HAIL. I, of course said "Hail???" and he said he hasn't gone out and looked at it but from the sound of it hitting the house, it must be hail. Hmmmm...no telling what I'm driving home to when I get out of here!?!? You all be careful! Sherri

No driving for me today! I got up at 4:30 AM and took Kiwi out. If I waited much longer she wouldn't have been able to walk! Eric made it home safe and sound from his 2nd job at 8 AM. The roads weren't too bad then he said. Now I can hear all the sleet hitting the windows and it woke me up. Think I'll clean and watch TV all day Stay warm everyone!! Sam
