Great Day for Lounging Around

Today I have just sat in my easy chair and watched the birds on my patio deck. So far today I have seen cardinals, blue jays, juncos, chickadees along with the usual sparrows, starlings, and morning doves. I have just had a great time just sitting and watching who are the dominate birds. I know I should be up doing something but it is just good to just let the mind wander aimlessly sometimes.

oh i love to sit and look out the deck doors at my birds.......wood peckers and in the summer tons of hummers too..........

Hey Sue- I so love to just sit and space out while I have my coffee. My favorite time of day is about 5:oo before the kids get up and the only thing stirring are the birds on my deck! It just feels so calm and they seem to have such joy foe it being so early and all! I think I like the doves the best, we have a pair and they are all the time cuddling and kissing each other! We have a great big tree in our back yard that always has lots of birds around it. I can't wait till this summer when we put our deck up and I can put lots of bird feeders out. My dog and cat will love it to. Nothing better than the early morning silence. Sam
