Better than I expected!

Well, I'm back from my followup and things were better than I anticipated

The 3 days I couldn't keep down fluids (which put me in the hospital -blockage @ my band) I lost 8lbs. Doc said when he took out all the fluid to release blockage that he wanted to wait a week for the swelling from being sick to go down, BUT he ordered me not to gain any weight !

I knew that gaining no weight was impossible (cuz of the extreme loss from being sick) so I was worried I gained it back. I only gained 3 lbs since leaving the hospital, doc was happy, I was thrilled! He only put a limited amount back in the band until I get back from my Texas trip, so I won't need to worry about 'issues' while I'm on the road.

I'm so I excited I could pee! I'm 180lbs (down 107lbs since WLS)

oooh i have a kidney infection as i type..........getting better though so i can feel your pain on this.... have fun on your trip and enjoy yourself....
