I have a Dr. Appt!

OK, I am really nervous now. I got a packet of info from Carmel Surgical Specialists. I didn't really expect to get that, but I had signed up for a seminar on the 20th, so I guess they sent it out after that. The letter said if I wanted to go forward with the surgery I should make an appt for a consult, so I called today and scheduled one w/ Dr. RoseMarie Jones. It is on 2/28. I'm a nervous wreck! It somehow makes it seem more real, that I have an actual appointment. I suppose I could still chicken out and all, but I won't. Everyone tell me what they think (if you know her) of Dr. Jones. Dr. Jones is fantastic...but so is Dr. Gupta & Dr. Cacucci. All three are in the same office together. They also fill in for each other for endo's, hospital release, etc. I think more pcp's know of Dr. Jones so she is usually referred more. You probably have a better chance of having your surgery done quicker if you went with Dr. Gupta or Dr. Cacucci because Dr. Jones is really booked up. That's how it was when I had mine and I doubt if it had changed that much. Sherri

You shouldn't be too nervous. You don't have to decide anything or do anything even with a consultation. You can change your mind anytime, up until they do it! Linda Vicory
