Good Morning Indiana!
Happy Friday everyone. I have a good excuse to stay home this morning. The daycare lady isn't going to be there today, and I got the morning shift with the kids, while hubby has the afternoon shift. Makes it a little difficult for the day, but oh well, whatcha going to do? She hardly ever misses.
My hubby and I have decided we are certifiable crazy. We got my son a drum set. He wants to 'start a band' and be the drummer. This is his first display of any interest in music and I want to encourage him. He will start drum lessons Monday evening.
I am still feeling not quite 100%, kind of down too, because I've only lost a pound in the last 10 days. I knew I wouldn't keep losing every day or so forever, but it sure does feel nice when you do.

P.S. Didn't end up getting the lasik. I just couldn't justify paying that much right now, when I could be wearing glasses.
Good morning all!
I too am so glad it's Friday! This has been an incredibly long week here at work...with lots of instrument problems to deal with. Those are never any fun. but...it's Friday!
I saw Jay yesterday. He's doing fine. He was a little sore. He said he overdid it by taking out the trash barrel the night before. Other than that, he's doing all right. His bloodwork is scheduled for the 21 now and the surgery is tentivly scheduled for the 28th..dependant on his bloodwork returning to normal.
Oh..my boss asked me this morning if I was serious about going to Peurto Rico to mentor their techs there. Heck Yeah! LOL! It's WARM there! It would probably only be for a week or two but oh yeah!!! I think our spouses can go too provided they pay for their own plane tickets & food. Of course, he's proposing that he goes down there too assist them in their start up. lol.
Well..you all have a good day!!

ps...Linda, I'm sorry you didn't get the Lasik. I know how disappointed you must be. When you have kids, that kind of thing always gets put on hold...which is why I never had it done when my kids were at home.
Happy Friday all! I go to see the doc today to re-fill after last weeks episode in the hospital. Since there was no fluid in my band, I've had to be carefull not to over eat and it's not been easy. First the was the wedding (I actually had some pot roast), then super bowl sunday, then leftovers. I'm fairly confidant I didn't gain too much (hopefully only the amount I lost being sick for 3 days). I'll let you know the results tonight.
I have no idea how much fluid he'll put back in, I can only assume it will be gradual like when I first had the surgery
. I hope it wan't be too much, we leave tomorrow am for Texas for 2 weeks and I don't want to have an 'issue'
while I'm on the road.
Talk to you all tonight!
Hope
