18 days and counting

only 18 days until my surgery I cant sleep I am so excited. I have started physical therapy for my lower back and chiropractic care for my neck and upper back. i do each every day and right now feel like a twisted up knot. but it will help me to be able to walk after the surgery. I got all my preop instructions today. and it says to stop all antibiotics 2 weeks prior. I have a bad tooth would it be ok to go to the dentist who will probably put me on antibiotics or should I just wait until after the surgery.

I think I'd go to the dentist and see if he can go ahead and fix the tooth up for you. If it's infected and you need to go on anti-biotics, call the surgeon's office and ask them for advise. Sherri

Congratulations on being on the countdown! I am only 3 weeks out, so if you want to chat, PM me! I agree with Sherri about trying to get the dentist's appointment in beforehand if possible. The sergeon might suggest a specific type of antibiotic if one is needed, or wave the "no antibiotic" rule for you. Belle
