Carmen- I read your post yesterday and thought you got some great advice. I was thinking about you this morning while driving home from an appointment and wondered how it went. Obviously my kids are little, but I kept thinking "What would you do?" I am so glad that it turned out well! Belle

Great job Mom!!! I am even more proud of you for backing your husband and not starting a fight with him over this. My ex and I could get into an argument so fast over not agreeing on how to raise our daughter. He was often very hard on her, now that I look back and have been in therapy for a while, and she has been in therapy too, I realize that I was often justified in standing up for her. But still every once in a while he was right. I just didn't know when to keep my mouth shut. Glad you have a spotless house and the snow has been shoveled. Good example to the other kids too that he did not have a free day and had consequences. The garbage can incident was priceless! Keep plugging away a day at a time with all your brood. My hat is off to you and your husband. Karen
