Reminder: Secret Angels Needed!!!!!

This is an edited version of a previous post: I remember when I was young and my mom having a 'Secret Pal'. Well...I think we're more on the line of needing a 'Secret Angel'. Don't you agree? We had talked on here awhile back about doing this...and then Jan brought it up again the other day. Jan referred to it as a birthday club. I like the idea someone had though of every month remembering your special someone. They were involved in a group that they actually sent little gifts each month to their person. I'd like to propose that we send 'something' each month...a card, a letter, whatever. Something so that they know they are not alone in this world. I'd also like to propose that whoever we have, we be willing to be their angel. Angels aren't just needed at surgery time! Lord knows, things happen to us that it would be terrific to have an angel to turn to. If you would like to be a part of this, email me. Include: Your full name (for an envelope) Your mailing address Your email address Your birthdate Your surgery date Your anniversary date Any other significant date that you would like your angel be aware of (ie death of a parent/child/spouse,Spouse/child(ren) names, etc), Special interests If you'd like for you angel to call you sometime, include your phone number too. If you would also like to be included in the Christmas Card exchange list, please say so.. Sherri, Im a bit confused on which we are doing. Secret pals and as u titled this secret angels u dont tell the person who u are...just send the cards and sign them secret pal however...u had in the body of this message that we could give them our number and be a buddie to them... if thats the case it will be hard for us to keep it a secret... It doesnt matter to me which it is...but if I am to keep it a secret I need to know so I dont give it away. if its not...that ok too.

It's pretty much up to you (the angel) if you want it to be a 'secret' or not. It really doesn't matter to me either way. I'll be sending each person any and all info that their match-up sent me. What they do with it is up to them. Sherri

I think it would be fun to keep it a secret and then have a party or a clothing exchange and reveal ourself to our secret angel....At that time we can re drawl names for the next yrs new secret angel.... just a suggestion
