It's suppose to be a sunny, but cold, day today! I didn't have any trouble getting to work this morning....not like on my way home last night! To go from work, pick up Bill, then straight to the foot doctor, then home...3 HOURS DRIVING!! It normally would have taken about a half hour total! It was I was SO GLAD to get home!! I gotta hand it to some young people on MySpace. The aparently did a zip code search and had sent out messages offering to shovel out driveways for $15 for a mid-size drive. I thought that was pretty good. Bill already had ours taken care of, but I thought it was good that young people were willing to get out in this, make a few bucks, and help out those who couldn't/wouldn't shovel their drives. What a day and age we live in when the asking can be done via the internet instead of door to door! But then again, it's pretty cool that we can all get to know each other via the net too! LOL! Well..you all have a good & safe day! I-70 west from Shadeland to Harding was pretty good. Harding from the exit to LTC-south has been plowed...some. Shadeland from 30th to I-70 wasn't bad at all. Richardt & 34th..not so good. Placing? Yeah right! Like it is EVER going to see a snow blade! Sherri

Wow! It was a two hour trek home for me yesterday (normally 40 minutes). It took a bit longer than normal to get to work this morning, but not too bad. I still made it on time. I am having lunch with my grandson at his school on the south side today. It's grandparents day. Just another way to raise money at their book fair. Hope everyone has a warm space today. I'm totally over this cold weather. I want springtime warmth. I want to plant flowers. Wish I could hibernate until the daffodils are out. Annette

Good morning everyone! Sunny, cold, and a little lake effect flurries occasionally is what we got here in the north. The first day of school this week, only a 2 hr delay - it was way too cold earlier this week to bother with busses and school. It's practically a heat wave today - a whopping 11 degrees! I'm off to paint pottery with my Sisters-in-Deed group this morning. Yeah, I know 'not working', but wait till April when it's 12-16hr days for 7 months straight (7 days a week) I will be insane then! You all have a great day, working, re-couping, taking care of kids, or otherwise! Hope

Hey there! My DH works on the northwest corner of 465 and it usually takes him an hour or maybe at most an hour and a half to get back home... Last night it took him 6 hours. Unbelievable!! Glad he made it back safely. He skipped out today, although I figured he'd be fine today. Hope everyone is keeping warm. Kim :-)
