Cindi, Thank you. At this point, I think I'm just still stunned. You never think about hearing the words 'cancer' and 'your child' in the same sentence. I guess that's why I have been looking forward to the weekend...just to give it all time to settle in and find it's place in my brain. It's helped to do some online research, as his surgeon suggested. He kept wondering if there were something he could have done to prevent it...not play football, be more diligent about wearing a cup for sports, etc. Although there are some higher risk groups (family history, HIV, white males, etc)...any male can get it and may not have any of the known higher risks. What we have to wrap our minds around and hold on to is the fact that of the few cancers that are curable, this is one of them. I am so grateful for my OH family. I don't know what I would have done without you. Ellen...you have become a very special sister to me......thank you.. Sherri
