My first issue since surgery

I just got home a couple hours ago from the hospital. I had my very first (& I hope only) "issue" since my surgery in May 05. I did actually have an 'obstruction' (Sherri told me it may be that), and even though I could eat the next few days following my post regarding that, it only got worse. Sun, Mon, and Tues I spent alot of time hanging over a bag in the car (we were on the road in New York) and trying desperately to keep down all my fluids, to no avail. Got home Tuesday afternoon and Doc sent me straight to the hospital. I was seriously de-hydrated (took 4 tries to get IV in) and the test this am found the obstruction was at the band only (thank God!). Doc removed all the fluid so the 'whatever' could go thru, and will re-fill next week. Apparently there was alot of swelling d/t all the puking so he wants to wait before putting fluids back. So glad to be feeling human again, de-hydrating is exhausting! Hope
