Pain under lower right rib cage?

Hi all! I have been having a sharp little pain under my right lower rib cage and it seems to also go along with a pulling kind of pain on the inside of my hipbone area. I haven't eaten anything but applesauce, cheese, and milk for the last 3 days so I cannot imagine it is anything diet related? I am 2 weeks post-op and things have gone really well after the first few days. My surgery is so recent, I am wondering if it is just related to all the stuff that went on inside my gut, or if I should call it in tomorrow? Anybody have something similar? Thanks a bunch! Belle

I had something smilar at about the same time. Does it hurt to take a deep breath? I had sat at the computer to long and was favoring my left side because it was still tender. I was leaning to the right. It seams by leaning to the right I wasn't breathing deep enough and collapsed my lung. A few days of deep breathing in my spirometer took care of it. It had me scared at first and I had to make a trip to the er to find out what it was. Keep an eye on it. If it gets worse call the Dr or go to ER.

Have you had your gall bladder out? If not it could be that...

I had not thought about gas! You know, it was worse when I breathed deep, but I also thought about the gall bladder issue since they did not remove mine. Either way it was gone when I woke up (which makes me think gas! lol!) I think I will keep using my spirometer for a few more days, just in case, then call the doc if it comes back.
