1st appointment with Doc next Thursday

Well ladies and gentleman I am so excited. I had a wonderful meeting with my psych doc who is 100% for me having the surgery. She is going to do my psych eval for me and will support me all the way. I have a consult scheduled for Thursday afternoon with Dr. Brenda Cacucci from St. Vincent's Hosp. I also spent 3 hours on the phone with benefits and insurance trying to figure out if insurance will cover it. I meet all the criteria- should I be proud of that? Hmmm Man I an just on cloud nine! This is really going to happen! I am going to be thin! For the first time in my life I am going to be thin! YIPPEEEEE

Michelle, I think Dr Cacucci is great. I feel shes and expert in her field. I am 6 .5 months out and Ive not had one problem...NOTHING. If u want an RNY then shes the one to go to. She knows what shes doing and she specialized in RNY and doesnt do much of anything else. I think u will love her. Good luck with your insurance...waiting on them can seem like forever when U know what u want to have done...and u want it done yesterday....yet u are still waiting to hear if u will get approved.
