Good morning Liz...and good morning everyone else! My weatherbug says it's 20 right now (4:50am) and it's suppose to get up to ~40 today. I don't know what the chill factor is but know that it will be COLD outside! Is it any wonder I like to hit the snooze bar and stay in our nice warm ???? Ah well, do have to work though so out of bed, I am! But..... IT'S FRIDAY!!!! That makes getting out of bed so much better! Oh..heard back from my sister and my Grandma's hip replacement went fine. Thank you all for your prayers. well..hi-ho, hi-ho, it's off to work I go! Sherri

Good Morning, I am just still wondering if anyone has heard anything from Angie? I haven't seen a word from her and was wondering if all is well. It is so cold!!!! I have to have a mammogram today, since I am getting new breasts. I am only 31 so I have never even had one. I am a little nervous, but I know that's silly. I am sure that the first one is the worst and they get better, Right? I bet all of you that have been doing them for years think that it's silly but I would rather put it off for a few more years. I didn't even know where to go and get one so I just called the hospital and they said they can do it. I hope that one place is as good as another. Any tips or pointers (no pun intended) would be welcome! Thanks Everyone, Carmen

Carmen, I had a mammogram a couple years back, when I had a mass. (It turned out to be just cystic tissue after a biopsy). It wasn't the most comfortable thing in the world, but it wasn't all that bad, either. I mean, I wouldn't do it for leisure time, lol, but it's just something you have to do sometimes, right? Carmen, Angie & I have been popping emails back and forth to each other quite abit. She has alot of things going on in her life right now. I know that the prayer list is getting to be about a mile long, but Angie could use everyone keeping her, Ed, and their family in their thoughts and prayers. I think all of us, is looking forward to being around our supportive friends tomorrow. Sherri ps....Mamagrams weren't as bad as I had always heard they were (to me anyway) but they are more uncomfortable now that I've lost weight.

Morning Everyone, Slowly waking up. I got a heated mattress pad for my bed for Christmas and I seriously did NOT want to get out of bed this morning. Still working on some choices on OB's for the baby and where to have this one at. Still deciding if I should go ahead and have my band deflated or wait till I'm told I"m not gaining enough weight fast enough. Our lease is up Feb 27 here at the apartment complex so we are also busy looking at options of perhabs renting a house. Gage has lots of basketball games with the Special Olympics on almost every weekend for the rest of this month and Feb. We sure are gonna be busy at my house for awhile. Called my dad and let him know he was gonna be a grandfather again, and he started weeping and saying he hopes he's around for the baby. I hope so too. My heart really goes out you Darrah. I now face a similiar situtation that you are currently going thru. No morning sickness yet *knockonwood*. Well I'm off to shower, drink a hot cocoa, and then head off to work. I am really looking forward to the shower tomorrow. Then in the evening, my husband and I are going to Bloomington to see some friends, since I've got the whole day off. WOoHOo. I needed a day off and something to look forward to. I think it's putting me in a little better spirits. Linda Vicory

Good morning everyone.... IT'S FREAKING FRIDAY!!!!!!!! I can't wait to see all of you tomorrow... I have been holed up in my house since August refusing to meet anyone new until I had lost some weight, so for me to even go out and meet new people is hard, but I have a feeling that all of you understand. It's frustrating for me because I'm usually the life of the party and the first to go anywhere or do anything... Ah well... I can be myself soon enough. 18 days left and i'm getting SO excited!!! I've been going to the gym about 3 times a week doing the elliptical, I went to the dr yesterday for a blood pressure check up and my meds have it down from 160/110 to 124/74 which is AWESOME.... Hopefully I can get it down that low after surgery without meds... Anyways enough blabbering I have to go to work alas... Holla!!!! Jessyca

Good Morning all and Happy Friday!! It is chilly outside but at least the sun is shining. I think its worse when it is cold and dreary. I at least enjoy the sunshine! I should be able to turn in my 2 weeks notice today. I am still waiting on the offer letter to arrive but I think I will get it today. I originally was going to take the Monday after the Superbowl off but that will be the first day at my new job so I better not. I can't really take any vacation or time off for the next 6 months. I'll be in a working test period and don't want to take a lot of time off. Maybe by the end of it I'll have enough time banked up to take a vacation someplace. Eric is off this weekend so there is lots of house stuff to be done. Hopefully we can finish the laundry area. It is just too unorganized for me. I'm also hoping we could go out with some friends. It seems like we never go out much and now that I have lost weight I am not so hesitant to go out. I just want to go and be social. Good Luck with the mammogram Carmen.
