6 Month Photos Up and GOT THE JOB!

I just got the pictures from my January 15th follow up with Dr. Cacucci. They are posted on my profile. I have been having some internal battles with myself and these pictures have certainly helped me. On another note, I found out today that I got the job. Looks like my start date is the 2nd week of February. I wouldn't have even been considered for this job almost 80 pounds. ago! This surgery is amazing and I wouldn't take it back for anything!! Keeping a lot of people in my thoughts right now!! Sam

Funny thing is you are no smarter than 4 months ago.. Just better looking. Makes me mad how"people" equate what we know to what we look like!! But then that is life!! I am sure your self confidence is better than pre surgery too. I am HAPPY you got the job!! Linda

Congrats! I knew you'd get it also. You know If you had gone for this job pre-surgery with the confidence you have now you might have gotten it also. So many times we fat people can be our own worst enemy. Not to say there isn't a lot of prejudice about weight out there, but if we could feel good enough about ourselves and have the confidence we have now I think more people would give us a chance. I'm having trouble putting my thoughts into words so I hope this makes sense. You're looking good , BTW!
