Former Hoosier living in PA

I just wanted to say hello from PA. I used to live in Indpls and miss it terribly. I RNY lap surgery on June 19th of this year. So far I have lost 80 lbs. and feel great. I had my surgery at Barix here in Langhorne PA. What a wonderful program. Liz

Hello. Nice to hear from you. This is a very friendly forum. (typical hoosier) I don't live in Indy but it is a great city. I'm way up in the north eastern corner of the state. Indy is probably the bariatric center of the state. There are many more hospitals doing the surgery now but the Indy Bari centers all have excellent programs. Congratulations on your success. I'm just over 1 year out now and I'm down 110 pounds. It is amazing. My new PCP is from around the Pittsburg area. You near there?

I don't live near the Pittsburgh area. I am completely on the other side of the state right on the eastern border by the Delaware River. I can see New Jersey if I go over to the river. I am about 17 miles out of Philly. Liz
