I would be glad to put in a few good word for Jay and the rest of the family as well. It is probably a small comfort, but you might remind Jay that "manhood" comes from the heart and not further south. From reading your posts I get the sense that you are a fighter and hopefully Jay can draw on that strength and reach inside himself to find the courage to fight the cancer or whatever it may be that has afflicted him.
Just FYI, there are a lot of cancer support groups and info available to help as I am sure that you are probably aware. The best advice I can give is just take things one day at a time and keep the faith that all happens for a reason even if we don't know what that reason is.
