Good morning everyone! Woke up at 5 am this morning. Why couldn't I have just kept sleeping? I started flipping channels and saw the saddest commercial ever. All these doggies in cages and some annoucner guy saying "I know how to sit. How to roll over. How to fetch. I know I am a good dog. What I don't know, is how I ended up here." I LOST it. Completly sobbing and bawling. Poor Chris couldn't get me to stop crying hard enough to even tell him what was wrong for a good ten minutes. But then he held me and the doggies all came to me licking my face, so I felt better. Baby was ultra super wiggly yesterday! We laid in bed last night and read her a couple books, and then put one of them on my belly and watched her move it around Hope everyone has a great day, I'm going to try to go back to be d for a bit.

I agree.. We took the triplets to the pet shop a week ago and let them see the puppies, kittens and rabbits.. they LOVED IT!! Don't think the girls are responsible enough to have a pet yet.. they are 2.5.. heck the puppy would be bigger than them in a month!! Madison is 2.5 and only weighs 19 pounds!! Babies know your voice because talking to them and reading them books will help them in ways you can't imagine!!! It is funny how much they actually learn in utero. I am at work.. better go.. Linda

Hi all, Talking about pets, we got our new puppy last night. He is a 1 pound yorkie. We named hime Quincy. I thought we would be up all night, but he went to sleep around 10:30, cried a little about 3:00 then went back to sleep and got up for good about 5:30. He is soooooo cute and the girls love him already. I'll have to post some pics when I take them tonight

Good morning Hoosierland! Hope you all had a terrific start to your day! Mine has been going pretty good. Can you tell by some of my posts??? LOL! I can't wait for Saturday!!! I have been having so much fun working on stuff for the shower! Oh...ladies...in case you didn't see the previous posts, we're all having a baby shower for Miss Darrah Saturday. If you're interested in coming and meeting others from the Indiana board, contact me & I'll send you the info (or you can scroll down the posts and see the one I put in Sunday). Please do let me know if you plan on coming...and if you plan on bringing something (food, water, etc), let me know what (so I'll know what I need to pick up/make yet). There is a microwave for reheating and plug-ins (ie crock pots). Oh....seeing how I am your sugar-free queen....I am going take care of the dessert (what's a shower without a cake?). It's not a recipe I've tried already but it looks yummy! I will do my best to live up to my 'title'. No poochies for me & Bill...not yet anyway. Before we met, I bred minature & toy poodles, min pins and poms. I also had a retriever/pit mix that was nothing but a loveable teddy bear (his name was Torrie..short for Taurus because he was my birthday present and I'm a Taurus). Right now, we just have a few fishies. We have been tosing around the idea of adopting a pup from the humane shelter. If we do, it'll be a german shepard....Bill's favorite. That's fine with me because Torri well proved that it's not just the breed that makes the personality of a puppy. I think it's more how you treat them. We'll probably wait and see how campgrounds are this summer with pets before we decide to commit to one. We won't get one to leave it at home or in a kennel the majority of the time. Have a peachy day everyone!! Sherri ps...Dawn...update?

Good Morning, 3 weeks out from my surgery date, yea!! It looks like I will be able to make it to the shower, but it does seem odd for me to come. A shower is kind of personal and I don't really know you guys well. Are you sure it is ok? I bought some of the body fortress brand protein powder recommended by several members and I got some sugar-free caramel syrup. So, I'm going to try a chocolate/caramel protein drink later today. I'll let you know how it goes. Tania

Goodmorning to all!!! I have to agree with everyone else about having pets they are the best to have. My DH didn't have any when he grew up and I have always some kind of a pet growing up on a small farm. We have 2 dogs 10mo old Rottie her name is Ava she is a bundle of joy and energy and such a good puppy too. We also have a Havaneese (Jellybean) which is DH baby.....lol. I can't imagne not having them. Its kinda quite here at work not much going on. We still have not heard anything as far as when our last day will be. I wish they would just tell us so we can move on and try to find other positions with in the company. Its kinda hard to interview within not knowing when my last day would be. But at least I have something for now. Hope you all have a great day and try to stay warm. Bonnie Oh Tania, you are more than welcome to attend the shower Sherri has extended the invation to everyone. Just drop her an e-mail to let you know you are coming. Hope to see you there and everyone else as well.

Tania, Yes, you are more than welcome to come!! We are a big family here hon...and the minute you posted on here, you became a member! We celebrate for one another's successes..weight loss, surgery approval, pregnancy, or whatever. We grieve when a member grieves...death, insurance denials, complications. We don't have to meet in person to feel close to one another. I think Linda V is one heck of a sweetheart...and we've never met...but I plan on meeting her Saturday! That will just make that friendship complete. Sherri ps...The first time I met Linda K, Deb, Angie, and Julie were at an ornament exchange at Linda's home. The first time I met Ellen, Jodi, and Leah were at a hot tub party at my house. These are some of the closest friends I have.

Good Day All, Hope everyone had a decent day. Myself, I went to the docs and had the pregnancy confirmed. Then went to the WIC and made an appointment. Now I'm debating whether or not to make an appointment with Dr Clark and have my band deflated. I guess I need to start looking for a OBGYN in my area too because even though we have plenty here in Crawfordsville with a hospital too..... I'd rather not deliver here at all due to some drama going on. I delivered Gage in Lebanon so perhaps I might go back there. Anyways - we've already established a nick name for the baby. Baby Pea. No morning sickness yet *crossfingers*. Jodi
