What: Darrah's Baby Shower (girl, due April 4th) Ladies.... When: January 27th. Start Time: 1 PM Where: THE HOME PLACE 6734 Millside Drive (Indianapolis). *please look it up in Yahoo Maps The Home Place is a senior living community and Angie was able to arrange for us to use their reception/game room. It has everything we need including a stove & fridge. If you'd like to come, drop me a note.If you plan on bringing a food dish, drop me a line & let me know what you are going to treat our taste buds to! I'm waiting to decide what to bring so I know what needs to be filled in on some. Now...for the baby.... Things NOT needed: *Crib *Strollers *Bouncer *Swing *Changing Table *Diaper Bags *Baby Baths *Playpin *Baby Monitor *Baby Gates *Nursing PIllow *Mobile *Blankets (we have some and I know LInda is making one as well) *Womb Sound Bear Registered at: Target & Wal-Mart (Chris & Darrah Sellers) Things needed that are not on the registered items lists: *Disposable DIAPERS *Baby Wipes *Bottles (I'm going to try to breastfeed, I don't know if that makes a difference on bottles or not) *Bottle sterilizer *Pacifiers *Crib Mattress *we havent really bought any baby toys because I really don't know whats apporpriate to buy yet. *Changing table pad *Diaper Genie II (we registered for the II model because its supposed to be easier to use, but still good on smell control, which is important with three dogs.) *The little safety lock things for cabinets. (If someone has already gotten or plans to get any of the above items, please let me know. I'll send out a revised list of 'need to get' so that Darrah doesn't end up with 4 crib mattresses.) Feel free to share this with any other losers who may be interested in coming. Let me know as soon as you can if you plan on coming. She was blessed with learning she was pregnant not too long after having RNY. This would be an excellent time for you to meet some of the other women on the board, if you'd like to join us. Drop me a note on here (click on 'contact' under this message) and let me know you'd like to come. **Clothes...you're welcome to bring clothes if you were unable to come to the exchange, but we'd appreciate it if you left them in your vehicle until after the shower. Let Angie or I know what size you brought and at the end, we'll make an announcement to everyone of who brought what so you can do a car transfer thing. There really isn't room to set up tables for clothes. ***Next clothing exchange will be in April, hosted by Miss New Pregnant Jodie (JoMac). It will be located here in Indy.
