Back from my surgery

Hi there! Wanted to let everyone know I had my RNY on Wednesady and got released this morning. I am feeling nauseated off and on and still taking my pain meds to help with the soreness in my abdomin. I am guessing these things are not unusual. I took next week off work, so hopefully I will get into a rhythm with all of the things I need to do and consume by then! Belle

Belle - Welcome to the looser's bench! I am glad everything went so well for you. I thought you said that you were having surgery at St. V's. I was there on Thursday for an appointment and I tried to find you for a visit. I gave them both names, Isabelle and Belle and they couldn't locate you. If you were there, sorry I missed you. Yeah Deb I thank God everyday for my daughter. She had surgery last Dec (2005) so she knew exactly what I needed. She was a comfort and an encouragement. You are right, I am blessed. Karen

Thanks! I have to say that now that I am home, I am a little overwhelmed by everything and kind of feeling blue. Guessing this is normal, though. Gonna just hang in there. I think I am going to post about it. Karen, I would have loved to have seen you at St. V's! Isabella is my middle name, so because of insurance purposes, I was registered under my first name (Elizabeth). Sorry! Very nice of you to think of me though.
