Good morning all! Well today is the big interview day for my husband. We're going to Indy for his interview at IUPUI. I really hope it goes well. I think he would really like the job. Yesterday I met with my trainer. She worked me good on shoulders and abs. It felt good. Only two weeks until Lasik surgery! Linda Vicory

Good morning everyone! I had my latest podiatrist appointment yesterday. I got my new orthapedic inserts...and...got my release to be able to exercise again!! Woo-hoo! But...my lasik surgery is this Friday (2 days!!) so I'll have to wait a month after that to work out. I can't tan or do the hot tub during that time either so I'll have to hold off a little while on the hot tea & tub. Oh well, winter was late coming so that might as well be too. lol. I'll target the end of February for it. Linda...good luck to your dh & his interview today! Does that mean you'd be moving up here or is he going to make the drive every day? Good morning all Looks like another long day. Yesterday, dad had agreed to go to a home. Come to find out, he was only agreeing because he thought we could just check him out as soon as he got there. Because last time we tried to get him to ahome, he refused to stay and we had to take him home. It looks like a loooong day again today.

Good morning Linda. These next two weeks will be here before you know it. I know you're getting pretty excited about it. Hope you have a safe trip to Indy and your husband's interview goes well. I came down with a cold this weekend (the first time I've been sick in over a year) and I feel like crap. I'm sure it's because I sit in this cold basement every day. I haven't started coughing much yet, but I have no voice and a sore throat. I was so tempted to stay home in bed this morning but decided to come to work anyway. Good Day All, Decided to (literally) crawl out of bed to check in with everyone today. The Dr. put me on a new med to help with skin sensitivity from my RSD and it is kicking my a$$. I'm so dizzy, tired, and nauseated - it's so unreal. But I have to take this med at least six (6) days before I can tell the doc it's not working for me. Problem is that it is working - but it's making me feel like crap at the same time. Hopefully the longer I take it the less side effects I'll experience. Going to GFS in Lafayette Friday evening to get all the food and supplies for the Special Olympics Basketball Tourney at Wabash College this sunday. I host/run the concession stand there so I'll more then likely miss Gage's games. ..... but I like running things/volunteering for the Special Olympics. It's a humbling but great experience. But untill that time I"m keeping my butt in bed and try to get over these crappy side effects. Everyone have a great day. Jodi

Linda I am thinking positive thought for your hubby! So who is feeling like crap today? I see Jodi isn't feeling too well. Floyd is battling that icky cold. Add me to the list. This migraine is killing me. I didn't get hardly any sleep last night and that surely didn't help. Why my cat decided 2 AM was a good time to make the Tylenol bottle from the counter his new toy is beyond me. Also why does the water softner have to cycle at 3 AM? Boggles my mind... So here I am...hurting and nauseas. The boy just left for a guys night in Terre Haute (watch out Linda) so I have lots of cleaning etc. I want to get done in the mean time. Slowly but surely... Sam

Hi everybody, Add me to the list of feeling like crap. Stomach flu since Monday night. I am a little better this afternoon, but now I'm thinking of how behind I will be at work. I have also been too sick to get to the hospital to have my Vitamin D drawn again. I am going to try to go tonight and do it. Sarah

Hi Linda, I hope your husband's interview goes well. You live in Terre Haute right? Will you move to Indy if he gets the job? Were you released by your doctor to begin exercising after 4 weeks? Even if I get that clearance, I am not ready. Still too weak. I am now getting dressed most days, but can't stand my bra on or my elastic around my waist for longer than a few hours. I am trying to do a few little things but wear out really quickly. I just have to remember that I have been through quite a bit and try to be patient with myself. Good luck working with your trainer. I would think a trainer would be really beneficial to teach you how to reduce certain areas of your body. How do you go about getting a personal trainer? Do most exercise places have them? I assume you have to contract with them personally and pay them directly correct? Real pricey? Still for the benefit they can offer, I think they would be great for a short term. I am sure the next two weeks will fly by while you are waiting for lasik surgery. I didn't realize that Sherri's surgery was so close. She will probably be a good source of info for you since she willl have already had hers. Hope your hubby hears something soon. Waiting is so hard. I'll be watching for an update. Karen

I can't wait to STOMP the patriots in the dome it will be better than winnig the superbowl... I've been exhausted... I haven't been to the tanning bed though in about a week and that does help me with seasonal depression. I think it's the weather and that's why I'm tired. My boss got upset with me today because I wouldn't meet one of our realtors. I have been VERY self conscious about how I look and I don't want to meet any new people before I have my surgery. (I met you guys and gals cause you had been there and I felt I could be around you without being judged) I told my boss I did not want to meet this realtor and he said he was going to bring him over anyway and i start bawling and begging him not to. I was straight forward and told him I didn't want to meet him because of my weight and i'm self conscious and uncomfortable and ashamed of myself so I don't want anyone making first impressions of me based on what they see now... He said I was being ridiculous and needed Dr. Phil, I said I have Dr, Jackie and she's working just fine but this stuff takes time. I didn't trust him so I went and sat in my car for an hour... I hate this.. I'm so ready to get over some of these demons and lose this weight!! Glad you guys are here to hear me ramble and hopefully someone understands. Well on for night 2 of american idol... who didn't just LOVE the baton twirling guy last night? Peace Jessyca
