Jan, how sweet of you to think of me. If you are wondering then probably some other inquiring minds are wondering too. I am scheduled to see Dr. Inman and a nut tomorrow. I will be just shy of one month out from surgery. My strength is returning very slowly. Slower than I wish, but I guess I need to be patient, as I have but my body through quite a bit recently, but patience is not usually one of my strongest traits. I am not sure if I will be ready to return to teaching full time on Feb. 1 or not. I still have my PICC line and they are drawing blood every so often to check my Coumadin levels since I had the blood clots. I am anxious to see "officially" how much I have lost. My scale was doing really well and then has not moved in a week. Not too sure what is up with that. My little pouch is very happy so far with everything I have introduced. According to my yellow sheets, I guess I am ready to move to eggs and fish. Yeah! So I guess I am on my way to a new me.....and I am so ready. Karen

Karen, It is so nice to see you posting! I hope that you are well and back to teaching as soon as possible! I am sure your students are missing ya! Hopefully you wil be mighty pleased with your scale results from the dr.'s office. Remember it is normal to stall every now and then to let your body catch up! Can't wait to see your post that lets us all know the good news! Take your time and enjoy your new journey, bumps and all, it is your journey! This will all be a distant memory, soon! I wish you the very best!Hugz Dawn
