Hi everyone,
Tammy and Annette, thank you for a wonderful time- you gals are awesome!
I really enjoyed getting to know you better. You did a great job!
It was so good to be with you at the Clothing Exchange! Dana & I had such a good time!! It was so good to catch up with all my "buddies" and meet new friends~!!!
Gotta tell you, we know how to have fun now:party; !! Oh there was some "delish dishes" and I just don't mean the food!!!

Gotta love a bunch of gal talk!
Right?!I could hardly wait to try the clothes on-thank you- thank you!
Sherri,
Who knew our guys would hit it off so well?!
We will have to come down some weekend and check out your new "home on wheels"
Now all we have to do is plan a camping trip! YEAH!! Oh, we have a Woodalls Camping Guide that is an extra, and Dana thought you'd like to have it. He might even get Bill to throw a line in the water:-0 hehe! What can I say, he does love the outdoors, etc. I'll bring the guide to the Shower.
Hubby & I ended up going to Metropolis in Plainfield walking in the rain around all the shops. Did alittle window shopping(GIRLS, I still can't get him into VS,let alone some of the places we were talking about)
& then he got himself 2 new fishing poles at Dicks Sporting Goods. He was such a "good sport" about coming that I thought he could "treat" himself.
** Did anyone find a sack on the floor with a pr. of black dress shoes and a few other things? I didn't get them "snuck into the car" and drove home without them-darn,:
: darn! I needed a new pr. of shoes, my feet have shrunk 2 sizes!
~ Floyd,
see what I mean- I guess I can't put the blame on hubby now , can I ?deal:
darn,so much for trying to "pull a fast one"
hehe!
Oh well, all the extra stuff went to a wonderful cause, so someone will get good use out of them.It was great to met you & Brneda ,hope to see you at a meeting.
We did stop at the Goodwill in Plainfield on the way out of town trying to find some cute jumpers for our grandaughter. She is in a 4t now. Can't believe she will be 4 Tue. She has come so far from 2lb. 4oz. to 22 # of bouncing little girl! God is so good!! I found her 2 really cute outfits & THEN~for ME~ I found 2 fleece tops and a sweater size Med. and a black pantsuit-size 12!!!!
It is my inspiration piece- it fit snuggly so each week I'm going to try it on again till I can wear it! I need all the incentive I can get!
Can't wait to see you at the Baby Shower, and next Exchange!!!
(((hugs)))
Ellen

It was so terrific seeing everyone yesterday!!!
I don't know how I missed meeting some of you?!?!?! Linda, Jessica, and Betsy...I am so sorry that we didn't get to know each other. I hope you come to the shower so I can have the opportunity then.
And then there are ones who I hadn't met before but really didn't get a chance to talk to very much...Lisa, you look great!, Cindy, let us know about the Pampered Chef details (I LOVE their stuff and even know what I want to order! But I want to be sure you get credit for it)...Tammy, you look fantastic!! And the exchange was terrific!
And then there's new-comers that I am very pleased to have been able to talk with some...Floyd & Brenda..so good to meet you!
And then there are those who I didn't even know 14 months ago who have become friends I can't wait to see: Angie, Dawn, Ellen, Jodi (love my sleeze-wear!), Linda Kay, Marianne (One Tall beautiful diva!), Bonnie, Melanie, Julie (Wow girl! You look great!), scott (looking good bud!),Carmen, Donna, Sam, and..well, you know I'm forgetting someone!! I'm very sorry if I am!! You all mean so much to me and I don't want anyone to feel left out!
I'm putting my pics on my profile from yesterday as soon as I hit 'continue' on the post!
Chance had alot of fun playing. I think it made his 6th birthday more special than just being at home.
Ellen..it did look like the guy**** it off, didn't it? But...tell Dana that Bill would have to be able to see a worm in order to bait one...lol. I'd be afraid that he'd be baiting his finger instead. I love the idea of going to Nashville!! I have really been in the mood for there for the past couple of months. By this summer, my foot should be up to the walking and that is one place that Bill enjoys the little shops too. Besides, he helps carry the stuff I buy so I have my arms free to shop! LOL!
For all of you who couldn't make it....we hope to see you at the next one! And ladies...hope to see you at the baby shower! Karen..I hope you are feeling good today and even better tomorrow! Darrah...you have friend who are thinking about you sweetie. Dan..I hope you're feeling better!! Deb & Leah...missed you ladies! It just seemed strange for there to be a clothing exchange without you there!

Sherri- Sounds like you all had a blast yesterday! Also sounds like our group is growing by leaps and bounds. That is a wonderful tribute to all of you. You make a newcomer feel very welcomed and accepted. We are a unique group and no one really "gets it" unless you too have had the surgery. This board has been such a blessing too. I was really beating myself up last week because I was past 3 weeks from surgery but still so weak. I had to remember too that I have had several complications that contribute to how I feel. I was having real trouble getting all my protein and fluids down, not because they wouldn't go down, but I just felt like I had the job of drinking a bathtub full of water and other liquids. I was just so overwhelmed!. Then all of a sudden something clicked and I am getting closer to the mark and feeling stronger because of it. I want to try to do a little today to build up some stamina. Micah, my daughter, is scheduled for an endoscopy with Dr. Inman tomorrow at St. V's. I am riding down with her and am to drive her home. She is having trouble since her surgery last Dec. I think her stoma is too big, or it has stretched too much. She also has several hernias. Whatever needs to be done, it will have to wait until the end of July when she graduates from Ball State. I haven't driven since my surgery. I haven't needed pain meds in over a week and I am really healing well. I see Dr. Inman myself on Thursday. Can't wait to get this G-tube out and see how much I have lost according to her. (My scale is looking pretty darn good). Sounds like you hit pay dirt at the exchange and got some good sleezewear!!!!Do you know of anyone at St. V's this week? I'll be there twice. Talk to you soon. Karen
Karen,
If I were still off, I'd meet you up at St. V's! I'm glad you are doing better...and will feel even better after you get that darn tube out. I hope all goes well for Micah. I think it's a little easier to fix a too small stoma than a too big. Yo'll have to let us know what she finds out. Micah was such a sweetie at keeping us informed of your status. Your turn Mom!
Can't wait to see you in a few weeks!!
Sherri
Yes, this clothing exchange was extremly awesome.
It was soo good seeing everyone after missing the Christmas get together. Everyone looked soo good! Like Divas! And once again I got to do Sam's "shopping", hahah! I think that happened at the last exchange too. I can't wait for mine and my son's step mom's chance to host the clothing exchange in April. If you haven't heard yet, it will be in Indy near the airport on Washington St. Right off the 465 exit. Should be very convient for everyone, so no excusses for not showing up.
I'm planning on hitting the GoodWill half price sale in late March to buy stuff for the size 6/8/10/small table. Don't forget everyone, ask neighbors, friends, and family members no matter what size if they'd like to donate some nice clothing for all of us to use.
Even though I got sick at this clothing exchange, I still enjoyed myself SOOOOOOOOOOO much and was glad to get out of the house and away from Crawfordsville for the day. And it was really great that people asked me information about the band.
WOOO HOOO For the next exchange!!
Jodi
