Hello All! I can't believe the changes around here, I hadn't been on here to update my profile or anything for a very very long time but now I'm back looking for support. I started this journey at 5'2" and 300#'s married and 27 years old..... After losing over 160 pounds I well unless you count the 400+ pound ex husband I lost 3 years post op, I'm feeling great. As a matter of fact I have never felt better... I have remarried and since meeting him a year and a half ago I have put on about 20 pounds. I'm happy, I'm enjoying life... I have two step children ages 12 and 9 who are very picky eaters so I find myself eating stuff that maybe isn't so healthy... I need to get back on track and get these 20 pounds off... I hit my lowest weight in late 2002 and maintained it over the next 3 years up or down 5 pounds depending on the day. But I'm afraid that if I continue to go in the direction I have for the past year I will end up back at 300#'s. Any help would be great! Thanks Molly

Welcome back, Molly. Congratulations on the new husband. I've found the people on this board to be very friendly and supportive, so that will surely help you. Tomorrow we are having a clothing exchange in Danville. You'll see lots of previous posts about it. Try and come and meet these wonderful supportive people. Floyd

Hi Molly! Nice to meet you! It sounds like you have done a wonderful job of losing weight. I don't have much good advice to give for keeping it off, I am pretty newly post-op, but I just wanted to say hi. Linda Vicory

Hi Molly, Welcome to the board- we are all glad you are here. You are an inspitration-5 yrs.+ out-fantastic. I am sure you have lots of tips/ideas for us .I am 1 yr.3 mo. out, it is such a joy to have "family" here who understands us. Congrats on your married bliss- I've been married 41 yrs. and it is great to have a supporting, loving man. For me,getting back to the water, protien and exercise is what helps me. I have a stubborn 10# I'd like to get off, and am concentrating on getting all of my requirements in. Water first, then tea/coffee. Haven't done the "diet pop" thing- just don't want to chance picking up my old habits again or stretch my pouch- besides the gas kills me! Keep on posting & I look forward to meeting you sometime~soon! (((hugs))) Ellen
