TGIF!
Happy Friday everyone!
Wow Sherri, grats on those steps girl! I forgot my pedometer yesterday, but I wish I'd had it on, it was a looooooooooooooong day for me. I was supposed to work again this morning, but no babysitter for my dad, so I can't.
Getting excited about the exchange tomorrow! My hubby is planning on comming too.
He'll be the cute shy guy following me around not talking to anyone. He's just very shy. I'm outgoing enough for the both of us. We might be a touch late, that bed is arriving at noon, then we're heading out. I need some sweats or pants of that sort that I can bum around in that will cover my baby (and skin) bump. At least its winter, cause man, ive had no luck finding maternity clothes in my size. I was JUST getting comfy in an 18 when I got preggo. Plus for the less than 10 weeks I have left, I just can't justify spending money on maternity clothes.
HOpe everyone has a safe and fantastical Friday!

Hi you all!!!
I am so glad that the weekend is here!!! I just wish that it was supposed to be nicer weather. I hate the rain!! When is it supposed to snow? I miss the snow but, I sure am glad that it snows less here than when we lived in Northern Maine!!! We would get 110 inches every year! And we had snow on the ground 10 months out of the year! I remember one year calling my Mom on Mothers day and was crying! When she asked what was wrong I told her it is still snowing!!!! Mother's day is in May!
Anyway- I am excited for the exchange tomorrow! I love seeing everyone and getting all the support from the group. I just love watching all the changes in each person. I bet some people won't even be able to be recognized! That is always fun to try and figure out who is who! I have lots of clothes to bring and some yummy snacks too! I changed my mind on the fruit since I saw that Lynda K is bringing fruit!
Looking forward to seeing all of us loosers and soon to be loosers and thinking about being loosers!!!
Have a great day!
Carmen
Ps thanks for the super info Sherri!!
Hello, how are you all? I can't wait to see you guys tomorrow. I have got my clothes bagged up and ready to go. It was kind of sad to do that. Kind of like a part of me going away... The good news from this week is that my husband has an interview at financial aid at IUPUI. It would be a better job than his current job at Indiana State. So keep your fingers crossed for him. And for me, the good new is that I am down to 240, that's 45 pounds gone. I can hardly believe it. The bad news is that I am not going to be able to have my lasik next week. My ins doesn't cover any of it, and some bills came in. Priorities, right? Darn me for being so responsible
Maybe in a couple more weeks.

Good morning,
Brenda and I are really excited about the clothing exchange too. Last night, I sorted all the clothes by sizes. I had more than I realized.
Darrah, glad to hear your husband will be joining us. I used to be shy before I got thin. Now Brenda calls me "Chatty Cathy."
I'm glad we're not getting much snow. We lived in Denver and we know how much they get. This is a nice change.
Look forward to seeing you all tomorrow.
Have a great Friday!

Good morning everyone!
It's another day of freezing my pa-tootie off! The chillroom was the aspect of the job that I LOVED when I interviewed for it. Now...I NEED warmth! I have 2 shirts & a hoodie on now..and about to add this thick coat I wear when I have to go in there. I spent the best part of my morning in there already. BRRRRRRR!!!!!!
Darrah...I've been having to take it easy since Wednesday. I think 12,433 steps was just too much for my tootsies right now. I got in ~6,000 yesterday and they were still pretty sore last night.
Linda V...I sent you a note on here hon!
My MIL gave me a recipe the other night that she thought I might could make sf...I can..
so..I'll make it (Robert Redford Salad), sf eclairs, and I think I'm going to bring a pot of white chili. See? What I don't bring in clothes, I'll bring in food! LOL! Also bringing my protein stuff. Does anyone live in Columbus that plans on coming tomorrow? Contact me ASAP if you do..ok? Regina would like to buy one of the protein powders. So...if no one from Columbus is coming tomorrow that would be willing to bring it to Regina, then I need to UPS it when I get off of work (was suppose to have last night but my feet just hurt too darn much).
You all have a terrific day!
Sherri

Glad it is Friday also. It has been a long and busy week. Looking forward to sleeping in tomorrow. I'm so jealous of all you that can make the exchange tomorrow. I really would like to come but it just isn't possible this time. They are having a BD party for my great aunt at the nursing home tomorrow and I have to be there. She's the last of my greats. there were 2 girls and 8 boys in her family. My grandma was the other girl. I grew up close to her and helped her around the house and with her dog when I was growing up. This is her 99th I believe. Iv've been guilty of not visiting her in a while so I really need to be there. Plus the weather forcast for tommow isn't to good. Freezing rain. ick. I'd rather have a foot of snow. I'm a hoosier born and raised so I don't know what winters are like elsewhere. If you live in Indiana though and don't like the weather just wait 5 min and it will change, is the old saying here. Enjoy the exchange you lucky people and have fun.
