Hello, Last year I posted here and even joined some of you for dinner in January, I think. I never got approved for the surgery last year, but I just did. I've been lurking on the list ever since last January. My surgery date is February 14th with Dr. Clark at St. Francis. I'm so excited. Now I have to prepare myself for the pre-testing.

Tania, Re-Welcome!! Congrats on the approval & surgery date. The pre-testing really isn't that bad. You'll be fine. If you'd like, you're welcome to join us for our quarterly clothing exchange tomorrow. It's in Danville & it would give you an opportunity to get to know others who are about to have or have had a WLS also. If you look at the other posts from the past few days, there is quite abit of information about the exchange on them. Sherri

Grats on your approval, and what a great day to have it on- my wedding anniversary heheheh. The worst part of pre op testing for me was the upper GI. I gave them the barium right back in the cup they gave it to me in.

Laffs, Darrah, I did that too with the barium. It was awful, but worth it in the long run. Linda Vicory
