Whatcha Bring`in To Tha Exchange
I'm not bringing many clothes...maybe a few 18/x-large that my MIL gave me. Until I have ps, I doubt I have many to bring. BUT......I AM looking forward to picking up some sleezeware!
Food-wise, I'm thinking sf eclairs. I also have a container of flavored rice-cake rounds that I'll probably bring. I don't see any food-food except Angie's shrimp so maybe I'll look in my Bisquick Light cookbook and whip up something.
Oh...I'll probably need to leave early Saturday. It's my grandson's birthday and my daughter decided to have a party for him afterall at 4. It'll be good visiting as much as we can anyway! So I apologize in advance that I won't be able to stay for the clean-up like I usually try to do.

I'm gonna bring lots of business, casual and dressy clothes in sizes 16, 18, & 20. I also have several bras (40C) and a few nightgowns (XL). I really don't remember what all I packed to go. Right now I'm comfortable in 14s but will be looking to grab some things in size 12 ?!? OMG!!! I can't believe that a size 12 is in sight. It has been 28 years since I last saw a 12!
As far as goodies...I'll bring a case of bottled water and some Crystal Light flavors.
See you there!

Lisa,
We all love to get together. So...since we all are always in the need of clothes (both recieving them AND getting rid of them)...and since we all are always looking for healthy, sugar-free foods that fit into our new dietary life....we get together about every 3 months for a clothing exchange and carry-in. It's terrifc meeting people from all over who are somewhere in their weight loss journey also. They are held on Saturdays. As to the where, each round, someone has volunteered to host it...usually at a church or other non-profit organization's facilities (which, they allow us to have the exchanges there free of charge provided we clean up afterward). They can be hosted about anywhere but usually within ~an hour of Indy. They have been on the southside, eastside, Kokomo (northside??), and now westside (Danville). This one Saturday will be hosted by Tammy and Jodi has already volunteered for the next one after that. That brings us to summer/fall, if anyone wants to put their name in the hat for that one.
The clothing exchanges are open to anyone who wishes to come..pre and post op. Yo don't have to bring clothes to come...or to get clothes. Nor do you have to bring clothes home with you. You don't have to bring a dish and there is usually plenty of food for all who comes.
You're welcome to join us Saturday. If you look back a few posts, you'll see the time & address.
