Happy Tuesday!!
Hope everyone made it to work or where ever they were going today! I got stuck in that semi wreck on I-70. Thanks goodness I come to work early so I didn't get caught in the back up like my boss.
Today is my big interview. It's at 2:30 PM. I went to JC Penney this weekend and bought 2 suits and 7 tops all for $230. However my store savings were $250!! Can't beat that! I also bought a pair of pants and 2 tops at Lane Bryant for $50. My savings was $40 so can't beat it really. I think I look good...young and fun but still professional. I guess only time will tell now...
I also treated myself to a salon hair do. Usually I get a $15 haircut and a $9 box of color but I decided to go all out and get cut, color, highlights, and brow waxing. It looks fabulous and it better for the price I paid. Needless to say I'll be living off of cottage cheese for the next week to pay off my shopping and hair!!
Hope everyone has a greaty day and stays warm!!
Sam

Good luck with the interview Sam. I know you'll impress the heck out of them. Isn't shopping so much more fun now? I used to dread it, but now I'm always looking even if I don't need anything. My closet is getting over stuffed again. Need to pull out some stuff for the exchange. Unfortunately, it won't be this exchange. It is just to far away. I wish someone would have one on the North side of Indy. or around Anderson next time. Today my baby boy turns 21. I don't know where the years have gone. Rob still lives at home and shows no interest in moving out. We offered to take him out to dinner tonight anywhere he wants but he wants a home cooked meal. His menu requests are Prime rib, twice baked potatoes and green bean casserole. So tonight I cook. I've never cooked prime rib before so this should be interesting. It will be a late dinner since I have to work till 5. I have the potatoes in the oven now set for timed bake so they should be ready when I get home. I'll put the prime rib in the convection oven when I get home. I've never used my convection oven since we put it in. It has a temp probe you can put in meat and it will shut off when the temp inside is right. sound simple enough, we'll see. BTW it would have been cheaper to go out. A 7 pound prime rib was 54.00. I better not screw it up. Hope you all have a good day. I've not been on much lately because work has been so busy. I usually get on and read how you all are doing though. Need to get back to work now, bye!

HOT MAMA!!!!!
You will look great and do great because we can all tell that you feel great!! And that is what will shine the most!!!
I have all my parts crossed for you and to go with all the shrinking boobs if I tried hard I bet I could even get mine crossed. LOL How's that for a bad mental image??
Good Luck,
Carmen
Good luck on the interview Sam!!! And if nothing else you invested in yourself, a very wise investment! Personally, I'm dying for a pedicure. Need to make sure that if nothing else I have pretty toes when it comes time to push. Can't believe my due date is only ten weeks from today.
HUbby is off today, and so am I, so I'm going to try to intice him into FINALLY getting some of the stuff for the baby's room/ our new room (which will be one in the same) put together. I'll be runnign the steam cleaner up there today so the carpets are nice clean, and ready to have furniture put on it. The room we are moving our bedroom to is pretty well empty. But its the largest bedroom in the house.
My dad is giving us a bed that will make the turn in our steps, but I can't ever get anyone to help my hubby move it. I obviously can't lift it up, and if I CAN find anyone to help, then I can't find anyone with a pickup to borrow so we can move it. Never knew it was so hard to move a bed 3 whole miles LOL.
Good...ummm...close to noon...everyone!
Sam, I bet you look great! And if you look great, I bet you feel great! That will show through in the interview and I bet you do terrific!
Darrah, if we still had Bill's truck, I'd volunteer for us to help you, but he got rid of it a few months ago.
I had my consult with Dr. Turkle this morning. I'm sorry people who had her, but I did not like her. There were several things. Alot is that she (and her staff) seems flippant over money. Do they seriously think that only wealthy people go there? For instance, she didn't think it'd be worth it to turn stuff into my insurance because anything they did pay would be insignificant. Define insignificant! You know, if Anthem only covered $1000 of it all, that might would seem insignificant to her checkbook, but it certainly isn't to mine! For all purposes, if I had the FMLA time & money today, they would have scheduled the surgery right away. I would not be having another visit with Dr. Turkle pre-op. I cannot tell you WHAT she plans on doing! The total body lift with the incision all the way around, yes. What, if any for the thighs...??? Who knows? She said they could be done 3 different ways but did not say which way she would recommend/plan on doing them...or IF she would even be doing them with the body lift. There were several other things too. If you're interested, ask me about it at the exchange or shower...but I don't want to bore everyone to death on it...lol. I know I won't have the FMLA time saved up until about August/September so I'm just going to make an appointment with Dr. Grasse for a consult for then. Oh...by the way...the consult was suppose to have been free at Dr. Turkle's but if you wait longer than 6 months, you'd have to have another one & pay for that one. Guess what folks? I walked out of there $50 poorer. Live & learn!
Well...short day today. Came in late, and Bil has 2 eye appointments this afternoon so I'll be leaving at 2.
Sherri
Sam,
I'm wishing you well on your interview. I know you'll knock their socks off!
Shopping is such fun! I made my LAST purchase at Lane Bryant this week. I just had to have one more round of their seamless, hi-cut panties while they were on sale. It's funny to go in there now and realize that very soon everything in their store will be too big.
Annette

Oh wow Sam, you will be a knockout! I said a prayer for you.
Sherri- Try Dr. Jones. He is with Jones & Santos, and does tske Ins. as well as *gives a 10% discount to Bari Patients!!!* He talked at one of the Support Group meetings I atended, and if I could have it, he's who I'd go to. (A friend of mine had Terkle, and it cost $36,000.00!!! Had to get a loan to pay for it IN ADVANCE!!! YIKE$$$$!!!!!) He was the guy I intro. you to at the Christmas Party.
Darrah- Don't you dare do anything -call in the troops ( friends neighbors reletives) and let them do the work. You sit back and take it easy- this Grammy is waiting on your little girl to hold
!
Well,I have been put back on meds for my colon. The past 2 days have been he!! for me. :-0 Hopefully by the weekend I'll be * back to my old self*- ha!
Have a good rest of the day,
HUGS, Ellen
