Sherri and Linda, i had my Lasik eye surgery on Oct 13th, I had the mono-vision where they do only one eye..I had it done at Lasik Plus at Keystone crossing and I love it. I am almost 50 and I do not even have to wear reading glasses.. Yippie..I did get $500.'s off do to my insurance but that was it. I too took the lifetime guarantee..Do it!!! Mine was only i believe a $150. more for lifetime. it to is well worth it. A;so I just want to say that it seems really scarry, but it is not bad at all. my doctor give you I believe a 5 mg pill of valium before you go in and the put drops in your eyes to numb them. You will not feel a thing..Also if you do end up needing reading glasses to help you here is a web-site if you are interseted in it to order your glasses. They cost about 23.00 or so. all you do is have you doctor write your prescription down for you and you can just order them online and you will have them in a couple of days. www.spare-specs.com Remeber to rest the day you have your surgery. My doctor suggests that you try to sleep for 4 hours after the procedure because you need to keep your eyes closed for that long..Good luck..I love my new eyes too. Dawn R

Dawn, Thank you for your post! I already have the spare spec site bookmarked! I had recieved a packet from Dr. Price office when I was doing my checking around. In the packet they gave me, there was a DVD about the Lasik surgery (..an informercial basically for Dr. Price's group). Watched the DVD and thanks to that, I think I'll be more relaxed when I hear that laser start up. I didn't even think about how lound it may be. I think it's good too that each eye only takes ~60 seconds. I can hold still for that long! LOL! In the LVI information, it does say to dress warm..that it's 'cool' in the surgery room. That is probably what I am most concerned about because I freeze all the time anymore. Sherri
