Anyone heard of a twisted stomach?!

Well, Dr. Gupta wanted an endo before the surgery of my stomach since I have a history of ulcers. They did it yesterday (not too horrible of an ordeal as it turns out!) but she found that my stomach was TWISTED! WTHeck? Anyone ever heard of this? God love him, my husband has communication issues. He did not ask ANY questions when she told him!!! Like "What could have caused this? Is this serious? Could this be why she has had this pain in her side since the twins were born? Could it be from carrying the twins? Could it be scar tissue from an old bowel obstruction?" She did tell him that the surgery was still on and that maybe the upper GI next Tuesday would give some answers. I am just really freaked out about this! I think she said that she is in the office tomorrow, which is when I have my nutrition class, so maybe I should see if she could see me briefly? UHG!

no never heard of such, i have heard of twisted bowels so i suppose it could happen..but its gonna be ok for surgery? and good for her to know ahead of time maybe and not getting in there and seeing it
