Happy And Blessed in 2007!!
Happy New Years Everyone!
Finally the holidays are over and I am back to work! Thank you Jesus! I absolutely love the holiday season and all the hustle and bustle but I definately need the structure of daily routine in my life...lol At work they give us the 2 weeks of the holiday off with pay and I love it only I tend to work at either 200% or -50%!!!
There were days I did not get nearly as much done as I needed to, but amazingly I awoke the next day to find it still there to be done...imagine that!!
I totally and throughly enjoyed the sinful treats of the holiday season! I can tolerate sugar and I carefully indulged on a daily basis everythiong was so yummy!!1 The pies the fudge the candy...OMGoodness I couldn't believe how content I was for that one piece of fudge where before I would have eaten it by the plateful! Now I am trecking back into my "Healthy Good" routine and feeling up and positive about it! I was so pleased to know that even with my wicked indulgances I did not gain even a pound. That tells me that when I do get to my goal weight I will probably be able to eat a few more calories and still maintain my weight. I am still feeling so blessed that I am down 126 pounds in my first 11 months. Even now as the pounds go off slower, the inches are showing all the time. My biggest thrill was Christmas Eve, We were at our Son and new Daughter-in-law's house, our 2 daughters were coming there to celebrate out family's Christmas Eve Celebration. Our oldest daughter is living over 3 hours away and we don't get to see her often so I was so excited to see my baby! When she got there I got up to go hug her and she just stared at me and exclaimed "Oh! Look how skinny you are Mom! I can't believe it is you! She just kept starring at me and kept telling her boyfriend that she has never know me at this size and at how great I looked! I was so pleased! Warm rushes of pleasure kept rushing over me and it meant so much for her to say that to me. In the beginning she was really against me having this surgery as she was so afraid that something would happen to me. Being 11 months out now and feeling so good and looking so good has really been such a wonderful experience. I thank God for his goodness and the joy he has given me! Every day of this journey just simply amazes me and I am really enjoying the ride! My wish to you is that your 2007 be the best year of your life and let God bless you in every area of your life!
Hugs!

Hey Marianne-
What a wonderful holiday you have had! Your daughter sounds so sweet. That was just so heart warming to read, thanks for sharing it. I too had a few extra snacks over the break, but have put a stop to that!!! So I was wondering if you are planning on going to the clothing exchange? I know you have the eBay stuff for your extra clothes, but you could still come and visit with all the loosers. Anyway I was just going to say that you are more than welcome to come with Pamela and I since you live so near me and all! Think it over!!
Blessings,
Carmen
