Idea about Birthday Cards

I was just thinking we all exchange Christmas cards what about maybe exchanging Birthday cards? Just an idea we are all so close on here and I know we all get them from our family members when its our Birthday. But since we all consider ourselves a Big Looser Family why not here too. Let me know what you all think and I can see what I can do about getting the information and get it passed out. Bonnie

It was suggested that we do a secret pal thing with everyone drawing names at the clothing exchange. Is that still on the table? I have a huge problem remembering birthday cards (just ask my mom or my sisters) but I think I could handle getting something for one person once a month. I hope so anyway! LOL! Sherri

Oh I like that Idea!!! I put my name up for the birthday list too but I liked having a secret pal at church... nice to know I am in someones prayers all the time.. and the cards are a bonus!! Linda

My husband and I are new to this but both ideas sound good to us. What is this clothing exchange that I am reading about? :help: Where is it (exactly-we just moved to Indy), when is it, etc? It sounds like somewhere we'd like to go so we can meet some folks in the area that understand WLS plus we have clothes to give away. We haven't found a support group here yet but we were told about Clarion and St. Francis. Neither one is very close to our house but I like the idea that the Clarion has some cooking "classes". :cool: Thanks for any help. :wave:

the card/secret pal thingy sounds good to me too! Just pass along all the details. I am not sure if I will be able to make it to the clothing exchange or not. Depends if I have a sitter. Therefore, if I don't get to make it can I still join in the card/secret pal thingy? Claudette
