Two months post op... Wow...
It is a three letter word that conveys so much. Wow... Awe... perhaps Giddy would work, it is a longer word. . . but really I think Wow covers my thoughts as my second month slips by me. I am constantly surprised by the changes that have occurred in my life. I am down 56 lbs. and have gotten under the 350 mark. . . I am 347, right now.
I am no longer on blood pressure medicine. I had been on various kinds since I was eighteen. Now, I am on none. . . again. . . Wow.
Slipping in and out of the
is so much easier. There is actually more room in the tub for water, how fabulous is that! I bought new bras and am going to buy a sexy corset on Friday.
I purchased nylons and they were too big!!! Yippee!!
My wedding ring comes off with ease. My hubby bought me a bracelet and I didn't have to have an extension for it. My feet are slimmer, but still long... grrr, can't have it all can I. LoL.
I haven't had any ill effects from anything but protein shakes. I have had serious stomach issues with them. So I do worry I am not getting enough and will deal with the loss of some hair. *sad face*
I still can't wear jeans... grrrrrrr... I mean real jeans, not the stretch waist ones, but I will, in time. Right now though I am just enjoying buying smaller knit slacks, though I swear I may never buy those again when I can fit into denim jeans again. LoL.
Bread... man... do I want bread. You never think about how much bread is a part of your life till you can't have it. Steak? Not a big deal really. . .but bread. . .geeze. I still also crave Mt. Dew. I admit here and now that I have taken itty bitty teeny weeny sips of my husband's soda, held it in my mouth for a while, hoping to kill off the carbonation and then swallowed. *snicker* It was good. *blush*
I can't wait to see what next month has in store for me. Bring on the New Year, because it will be bringing on a new me.

Deanna,
check out: http://www.LaneBryant.com . They have jeans that go all the way up to 44W. Jeans jeans...not just stretch waist. Right now, some are pretty reasonable at less than $25/pair.
I was about a year out before I would try a taste of bread...and was in Heaven! We pass the Wonder bread company on our way home and it sure smells yummy when the're baking it! I waited about 18 months for any pop. I limit myself to no more than one a day now...and stick to sf decaf pop.
It sounds like you're doing really great! Keep up the great job! Oh...start taking Biotin..it's a vitamin and will keep you from losing hair quite as bad. Do experiment and try to find a protein you can handle...even if it's just skim milk with sf Nestle's in it. Protein is very important.
Sherri
I lived on string cheese and chocolate milk... protien shakes didn to work for me and dont forget the BIOTIN it really helps with the hair not falling out!!
Try a pc of wheat toast.. dry it out by toasting it.. that is how I got my fix.. now I just dont even want it I feel it is an aweful waste of room... save the space for protien..
I KNOW the wow feelings when you get into something for the first time and when you finally find something to big... my biggest wow was when I could wipe my butt in a public restroom without twisting all out of shape...or having to use the seasaw method.. gross but true!! ahhhh what a treasure wiping my butt!!!
