OMGoodness... A surgery date already!
I have been lurking again lately, but had to come back out to share my good news!
I cannot believe it, but my insurance approved me this time without even a request for more info. I did not even get a letter yet, but Heather from St V's called to get everything scheduled and said she had gotten the letter yesterday. I go on the 2nd for a scope, the 4th for my nutrition class, the 9th formy pre-op testing, and the 17th for my surgery! Holy cow! Now all I have to do is wean my twins... soon!
I wanted to let you know that I think this is such a great site and I am so glad I found it. It has been so helpful to me over this journey so far and it is so comforting to know I can turn to people who have all been through it already when needed. Thanks!

Thanks for the good wishes and I will keep you posted! I am already planning my last meal!
Jessyca- That is a bummer we aren't in the same class! I am having a roux en y. Which are you doing?
Carmen- Thanks, and congrats on the size 6. Even when I was "thin" I was a size 10. I cannot even relate to a size 6. I bet you may have felt that way too at one point, though! You are quite an inspiration. I keep trying to remember what you told me about your journey... exercise daily, less than 25 carbs daily, carry snacks with you when out with the kids! I welcome any other pointers too!
Carmen-
I was just thinking about the clothing exchange this morning. I figure I should hopefully be ready for the March one! I was actually thinking that probably not many people would need my clothes since they are size 26, and that was a shame because I have some nice clothes for work! I'll definitely participate, though, in a couple of months regardless. It will be great to meet some of you that I have been reading about!
