Hi there! I cant believe you are already 6 1/2 months along! Wow... I remember you posted the news! Man, I'm thankful that my OBGYN is very familiar w/ WLS patients. Best of luck to you and your growing baby. Keep those feet propped up as much as you can! Jaimee

Darrah, I would suggest that you call Dr. C's office and ask them who they would recommend. I know you aren't the first WLS post op to become pregnant that had their WLS through their office. They may be able to recommend someone who has had other patients of theirs. When Dr. Deeya Brooks started practicing at St. V's, I switched to her as my family doctor for the sole reason that she was familiar with RNY. My old doc was stupid enough to ask me if there was a difference in what I could eat. Duh! Ya think??? Dr. Brooks is ALOT further away and she can be hard to get in to see, but I'd trust her alot more than the one I had. At least with her, she understood why I ask for liquid or chewables or tablets (capsules just go right through me without doing a darn bit of good). i think it's very important for ANYONE to feel 100% comfortable with the doctors who are treating them...but especially so when you have had WLS...and extra-extra so when you have the health and well-being of another person in you. Sherri PS>>>EVERYONE>>>>>> Don't forget that the babyshower is coming up January 27th!!!!!! Email me or contact me through here with your email info if you haven't recieved a message yet about it and I'll add you to the contact list!!! I'll be sending out more info after the 1st!
