I'm so excited!!! My surgery is exactly two weeks from today. I started doing the incentive spirometer everyday and my mom and my sister bought me an ipod shuffle for all the walking I'm going to do after surgery. I can't wait, I know I'm wishing my life away but I want January 9th to come as fast as it can!!!

I completely understand... My surgery isn't until February 14th and I'm already counting down the days, literally they're written on my calendar. I can't wait!!! It's exciting, scary, and WAY EXCITING!! (doing the happy dance together) I don't see it as us wishing our life away, but wishing our way to a better life!! Jessyca

You are in a VERY exciting part of your journey to wonderland. Make the waiting time pay.. clean and organize your closets.. the first to go etc.. look for the smaller sizes because within a month to 6 weeks you will be getting into them!!! Check out your make up bin and refreshen any old make up because you will start feeling like making the most of everything!! Everyday you will be one step closer to becomeing exactly what you have wanted to be!! Remember your personality and dont change.. once you get to where you want to be remember where you have been... we sure don't want to think we are better than those who havent made the decision we did to have surgery. You will be wonderful!! the road is not always easy.. there are bumps in the road on this journey and sometimes rough seas.. but it is SO WORTH IT!!! ENJOY!! Linda

It will really go by quickly. I made a check-off list of everything I had to do before surgery, like breathing on the IS, removing jewelry, packing, etc. It helped the time pass, and I could see I was getting things done. I am so excited for you. I can't wait to see you as a loser! Linda Vicory

Not only will the next two weeks fly by but the whole year will be gone before you know it. I'm remembering back to last year when I was waiting for the 17 to come. Now it has almost been a year. It has been a great year. My prayer is that you and everyone could have as good of luck as I did, with no complications. I thank God every day that I was able to have this surgery and he brought me through so well. Keep us informed.
