Friday

Good morning everyone! I want to thank those whose sent the Christmas cards, they are truly a surprise from junk mail and bills in the mail. For all of you working today, like me, hopefully the day will go quickly and quietly. Maybe the bosses will let us go home early. I have all my shopping done and trying to find some recipes that I can enjoy from the recipe messageboard here. We are having Christmas dinner at our house with a turkey and ham and a few extra things with Splenda thrown in. I want to thank everyone for all the support during my surgery on 11/13 (down 25 lbs. but have stalled a bit) and to Linda and Angie for coming to visit me there. I am really looking foward to the clothing exchange in January to meet the rest of you wonderful folks. Regina

GREAT Friday for everyone!! I took off cos ed has 2 dr apps one at 1030 and one at 415 with blood work in there some place as well. all on the east side so we will just stay there...maybe shop some but for what i have no idea....am sure the neuro doc will be setting him up for more testings......i will post later letting everyone know what was said today... wish i was off to do some house work or something i have so much to get done yet..and need a few more days...........

It's Friday, it's Friday... That's me doing my Friday song and dance. My dh left for one last round of deer hunting. So I have the house to myself. I get so much more done alone. Lots to do this weekend. Making caramels for friends and family; one last gift to buy; one gift to exchange; groceries to buy for a family in need; food to fix for Christmas; and planning a meal for when the kids come on the 26th. I bought myself a gorgeous Calvin Klein suit at TJMaxx yesterday. It's a size 12!!! It doesn't quite fit yet, but I know it will soon. It's funny, but I am really looking forward to giving it to my sister when it gets too big. A while back she cleaned out her closet and gave me all her "fat" clothes saying that she wanted to get rid of them because she never wanted to "get that big again." I know it's wrong of me but I SO want to be on the other end of that for once. Have a great day, Annette

Happy Friday! I am at work, but hoping to get to leave early. I don't know why, I just have to go on over to my other job... I volunteered to work tonight, even though it's not the usual shift. The girl who normally works it, her husband is graduating from the police academy today, so I heard, so I said I'd work for her. I can use the extra money, since it's holiday time. I am so psyched, I am getting A's in both my grad school classes for the semester. I thought I would get B's at best, and would have been happy with B's considering all that's gone on this semester, but I did better than I though on the finals and projects, and got a strong A in one class, and a just barely squeaked by A in the other. Hey, I'll take it though! Woohoo! Has anyone heard anymore about Karen? Just wondering. Linda Vicory

Well, you're not the only one working today, but I am leaving early. We are authorized to leave an hour early, so I'm taking an hour leave to go with it so I can leave at 12:30. My wife and I haven't done any shopping so we're going to the outlet mall when we get off work. Since we just moved to Indy a couple months ago, and haven't sold our house in Ohio, we are not having much of a Christmas. We've decided to buy a new treadmill and just get a couple small gifts to open on Christmas morning. Hope everyone has a very Merry Christmas and look forward to a very Happy New Year! Floyd
