Happy Holidays!
Good Morning Beautiful People! It has been a while since I have taken the time to update on here. I have been so busy with the upcoming holidays that my time just gets away from me! I am still doing great. As of 10 months out I am down 126 pounds and feeling fantastic! The inches seem to drop faster now and I am working on firming up the loose skin, My best friend Kay, sent me some wonder firming cream from France and it really seems to help alot, I went out and found it on Ebay and bought a ton of it ! Lots of body here to firm up! LOL All in all I am so pleased with my progress so far. I am easily wearing and 18/20 in size and now that I am into Victoria Secret panties my life is complete! LOL I just got our Christmas cards ready to mail yesterday and I am amazed at the difference in our picture that we send out each year! Just one year ago I was a much different woman! On the 6th of December it would have been my 26th wedding anniversary from my first husband who passed in 2000. I got my wedding dress out and got the courage to try it on. I am still about 50 pounds heavier than I was on my wedding day but I tried it on. I couldn't get it zipped all the way...but it looked great and I felt sooooo good! I never in my wildest dreams thought I could ever get into it again. Food wise I am doing good. I eat pretty much what I like, trying to keep the smarter choiced in mind and choose things that are higher in protein and good for me. I still don't do much bread, dry meats, or bulky empty calorie items. With the holidays here and I am since I am able to tolerate sugar....I have enjoyed some of the sins of my past!
I try really hard to count the calories and allow them in moderatly. I am eating about 4 to 6 ounces each meal and I like having that strong control over my intake. Once and awhile I try to slip into my old way of eating larger portions and my tummy lets me know my eyes were way bigger than my tummy! This is a good thing! I feel as long as I can keep my portions small I will be able to maintain this lifestyle and kep my weighloss a permanent place in my life. I wish you all a wonderful holiday season and my your new year be filled with many blessings and much joy!
Hugs! Marianne

That dress will go on again real soon.....and being a loser is a blessing no 2 ways about that....we have several on this board who are going to be finding out real soon...and i can say from my 2 plus years out how great on this losing side really is...
i can say it having once been 293 pounds vs 167 or whatever i am today...and i can say it from buying size 24-26's and being so unhappy if i had to go shopping and something how it looked on me or how i felt in it...compared to today when i can go get a 10 or 12 and it fits....which even at a 10 or 12 i am still smaller than what they say the average woman wears a 14...now who would have ever thought that of me? YAHOOOOOOO l love being a loser...
oh hey i got a scale that measures water and body fat....now to get it figured out how that happens. i did finally get it to say my weight...lol...one thing at a time........
hey anyone know how to do this new profile on here? i need to get that done...
Happy holidays to everyone too! I am so excited about Christmas. I love this time of year, with the kids, and seeing their faces so happy. I think my husband will like his presents too. I wonder what I'm getting? I am feeling really good this morning. The scale was stuck for several days, and today it moved again, so that made me happy. I will be going in to Dr. Inman's office this week, and am excited about seeing the 'actual' number of pounds lost. I feel so lucky to have been able to start this journey.

Linda - You sound like you are doing great. My surgery is scheduled for the 20th. My daughter had surgery last year on the 21st. So her one year appointment with Dr. Inman is also on the 21st. If you have time, and if my surgery actually goes through, I am having some problems with my glucose levels, stop up at see me at St. V's. We can do a lap or two. Karen
Hey U Goddess,
Its so good to see you post. I think u are looking terrific. I was so excited to finally get to meet you at the Christmas Party. I hope to see you at the next clothing exchange if u arent traveling around the country again.
I too would like to know the name of your firming cream. Im using firming shower gels and creams...even skin brushing...its helped but I still have alot of skin to firm up.
I just had my 5th month anniversery. Im down to a size 24 top and 26 bottom. I think if I get to an 16-18 I will be so happy. You also have made me want to go try on my wedding dress as soon as I get offline. I bet it will be to big for me by now...but will be good to go and see.
Well I wanted to wish you a Merry Christmas. Have a great Holiday
