According to a BMI calculator I found online that puts you just above 35. 35 is the lowest BMI they usually consider with co-morbidities. 40 without. So you may be a good candidate. Alot depends on your insurance. Linda Vicory

It's possible if you're BMI is above 35 and you have co morbidities and Linda is right... Alot of it depends on your insurance... and your doctors support... My first step was to talk to my doctors... As i have one for everything it seems... they were all very supportive and believed this to be the best step for me. Now my insurance battle was something else... Call your insurance provider and ask them what their stipulations are for getting approved for this surgery. Request it in writing!!!! That way they can't come up with new ones once you get all those satisfied!! God Bless Jessyca

If ya want it.. research it!! Research research.. this is not a journey for the weak.. strong wonderful people take this step with the help of knowledge.. MY RNY will not be reverced without MAJOR surgery...so I work with my tool, follow Drs orders and do my best to be the best me I can be. Insurance hassles will slay the weak.. bone up, strengthen up, research and if it is what you want you have tons of people here behind you 100%!!! Linda
